Little girl please put some clothes on
Why is it that every day society excepts more and more scandalous items of clothing into what is considered socially appropriate modern every-day wear fashion.
For example, shorts should never be longer in the crotch area, slit’s should not start right under the ass, and shoes with clear heels are stripper shoes, yes ladies i’m sorry but they are. It is not mandatory for prom dresses to be above the knees! I swear I went to Macy’s the other day and could not find anything knee length or longer. Actually correction, I couldn’t find any dress that would stop mid-thigh in length, and I’M ONLY 5 FOOT 3 INCHES!!! For all those chicadees in high school thinking i’m a hater, please slow your roll my dear because back in my day, btw which was only 2005, we could be sexy and cover the majority of our bodies!
For all the young girls out there who feel pressured to wearing extra short clothing, just remember sexy is more of a personality trait, than a look to master. It all really starts out with confidence, if you’ve ever wondered why some chick walking down the street gets more headturns wearing the same exact outfit that you wore two days ago and only got you a ‘you look nice today’ from the one boy that already thinks you’re cute, its probably because she know she got it, not because she paid $34.99 in Forever 21 for that dress.
Now don’t get me wrong, its fun to dress up and show off some leg and what not. I’m guilty, I wear short skirts to the club, but then again dressing for the club is different. Going to Walmart with ur parents, little sister, and your grandma is not a dress to impress scenario, Walmart/any grocery store/McDonald’s/WaWa is not a dress to impress scenario.
